Content from the Internet (Video, Photo, News, Comments, etc.) What are the Conditions for Removing and Blocking Access?
Pictures, videos, news, comments, etc. published on the Internet. conditions for the removal of content 8 of the Law No. 5651. and 9. it is possible to remove the content published via the internet website or block access to the relevant section (URL) of the website where the content is located, as regulated in its articles, in the following cases:
Removal of content or blocking of access due to violation of personal rights,
Blocking access due to the commission of a crime,
Removal of content or blocking of access due to violation of the privacy of private life,
Removal of the content or termination of the access service due to violation of the Intellectual and Artistic Works Law No. 5846,
Removal of content or blocking of access due to the use of the right to be forgotten on the Internet,
Blocking access due to public interest and order.
In summary, individuals who are victims due to publications made over the Internet have the right to request the removal of the content by contacting the content and location provider. However, in case of a negative outcome of this request, it will be necessary to resort to legal means.
